William & Harry Prepare to Remember "Mummy"
Written by Joanne Leyland
Friday, 24 March 2006
It's being reported that Princes William and Harry will be spending this coming Sunday together so as to continue a tradition of remembering Diana on Mother's Day.

According to the Daily Star, the young Princes always take time out on this special day of the year to privately remember their Mum. So important is the day to William and Harry that "senior Royals" are alleged to have asked senior military commanders at Sandhurst to allow the two Princes to leave the academy so as to be together.

William is currently continuing his training at the Surrey academy but Harry is out of the country, on manoeuvres in Cyprus.

A 'Royal source' tells the Star's Royal reporter Stephen Rigley: "The two young Princes are determined that Diana's memory should never die. Wherever possible they get together on Mother's Day and remember Diana, not as a fashion icon or global superstar but as a caring, loving mother."

"Even when William was at St. Andrews University and Harry was at Eton they always managed to talk to each other on Mother's Day. Their mother was a very special person who brought the boys up well."

"She made sure they always tried to do the right thing and they want to keep her memory going. They are very grateful the Army have been so understanding."

The report goes on to claim that this may be the last Mother's Day the brothers spend together as Harry is expected to be serving in Iraq next March, although such a posting is unlikely for William due to his future as Prince of Wales and future King.

For once, Prince Harry is on the receiving end of praise from a newspaper. Today's report claims he is impressing his Sandhurst bosses much more than William, it being claimed that Harry can do far more press-ups and sit-ups than his olderr brother, who always managed to overshadow Harry throughout their earlier schooldays.

Awwww Bless Prince Harry and Prince William! I absolutely adored their mother, still do only in her memory, and this brought tears to my eyes to hear that they do remember her. i don't blame them for doing it privately. It just seems like the young Princes don't have much of private life, you know.
