i do NOT think that the princes have defended their mother's memory very well at all. they have been so anxious to make their father happy by accepting that woman that they seem to have forgotten their beautiful mother.

at least paul burrell has NOT forgotten diana.

Yes, in a way, I agree with Paul Burrell. There is no doubt that the Royal Family want Diana to be forgotten. I personally feel William and Harry have the power to remembering their mother but do they realised that? I don't know. I never want Diana to be forgotten but do you? That is exactly what Paul was doing, to remembering Diana and what her world was like. I don't see anything wrong with that. You have to remember, years ago whilst Diana was still HRH, they want to put her away as a mental illness. They don't understand why she was 'different'. Other word, The royal Family will never understand us because we are 'different' from them. I admire Paul for doing this but people must remember newspapers do tell lies so Paul want to set the TRUTH.

yes. diana was inconvenient for the royal family. she showed everyone that there WAS a different way to do things....that it didnt have to be US kowtowing to THEM....ARE we different from the royals? i dont think so. i think it was simply time and place which made the difference....they are human beings, but they are emotionally constipated human beings without the ability to see further than the ends of their pampered, privileged noses.

i think william and harry should bloody well stand up and be counted. they should tell their father that, yes, they dont mind if he is happy, but for god's sake remember that diana was their mother, and that he could do a little less of the rubbing everyone's noses in camilla!

it makes me wild that we are expected to ignore all that diana did, and to simply accept what these pampered rich people want us to believe. we LOVED diana...she was one of us, even if she came from wealth and power. she understood.
